TEOW CHEAN KHAI

Teow Chean Khai completed his MEd Educational Psychology from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (2016) and Bachelors (Hons) of Psychology (2013) from HELP University. He is currently an educational psychologist working with children and adults with mental health and special needs including ASD, ADHD, SLD, depression, anxiety and other conditions. His work primarily involves psychoeducational assessment, consultations and therapy services. He is a registered member of APA, PSIMA and SPS.  He previously lectured in HELP University Malaysia and University of Nottingham Malaysia.

NUR EDZATI BINTI KAMALUDDIN

Nur Edzati Kamaluddin is an educational psychologist and psychology lecturer at UNIRAZAK. With a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and Masters of Education (Educational Psychology) from the International Islamic University Malaysia, Edzati brings a heartfelt commitment to education and well-being.

Currently serving as the Psychology Programme Director at UNIRAZAK, Edzati plays a key role in shaping educational curricula to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of psychology. 

Additionally, Edzati is holding the position as the chairperson at Tadika Ceria Az-Zahrah and CEO at Tadika Alam Azzahria Sdn. Bhd. Beyond her professional roles, Edzati finds joy in crafting children's books that seamlessly blend engaging stories with valuable psychological insights, fostering positive values and resilience among young readers.

Edzati deeply values collaboration and actively engages with school leaders, psychology service providers, multidisciplinary team, early childhood educators, and families to improve educational practices and facilitate optimal growth for children. Outside of work, she finds solace in gardening, draws inspiration from travel experiences, and continually expands her knowledge through extensive reading. She eagerly looks forward to collaborating with other educational psychologists to create a brighter future for young children.

Dr. HUE CHI YIN

Dr. Hue Chi Yin is an accomplished educational psychologist with a PhD in Educational Psychology from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and over 7 years of experience in tertiary education teaching. Currently serving as a psychology lecturer at Taylor's University Lakeside Campus. She holds a Master's degree in Educational Psychology from UPM, a Bachelor's degree in Human Psychology, and a Diploma in Counseling from Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT). Her expertise in teaching, research, and training is evident through her active involvement in various research projects related to cognitive executive functioning, music training, technology in learning and teaching, and students with learning disabilities. In addition, she is also a certified HRDF trainer, showcasing her commitment to professional development.

Dr. Brendan Ch’ng

Dr. Brendan Ch’ng is currently an Independent Scholar based near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received his PhD in educational psychology from University of Malaya in Malaysia where he has dedicated his research journey in investigating the underlying mechanisms that support the psychological well-being of individuals with sensory-processing sensitivity.  He also holds a Master of Education specialising in gifted education from Monash University in Australia. Brendan’s research interests broadly encompass areas of educational psychology, gifted education, and higher education.

Dr. Tajul Rosli b. Shuib

Dr. Tajul Rosli is a senior lecturer at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris in the field of Educational Psychology. With a strong passion for learning, Dr. Tajul completed his Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Tanjong Malim. His research interests include thinking skills, personality, talent, and Islamic education. Throughout his academic journey, Dr. Tajul has focused on understanding how psychology intersects with education, aiming to improve learning strategies and outcomes. He is known for his dedication in mentoring students and promoting academic excellence. Through his research and guidance, he inspire others to explore the nexus of psychology and learning, fostering a culture of curiosity and innovation in education.

Lee yik peng

Lee Yik Peng obtained her Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Universiti Malaya (UM) and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (Hons) from Sunway University. She has 12 years experiences in education industry; 9 years working with children with Special Education Needs.  She is currently working as a freelance teacher, assisting and guiding individuals with SEN. Her research areas of interest include creating a conducive and suitable learning setting for individuals with SEN, inclusive education and opportunities for special needs, and also transitioning from an education setting to the workplace.

Dr. Wirawani binti Kamarulzaman

Wirawani Kamarulzaman, currently an assistant professor at the International Islamic University Malaysia, holds a bachelor's degree in Human Sciences with a major in Psychology. She pursued both her master's and doctorate degrees in educational psychology at the same university.

Prior to her current position, Wirawani served as a senior lecturer at Open University Malaysia and as a lecturer at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. At present, she imparts knowledge on education testing and assessment at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Her research interests encompass a wide spectrum, including thinking skills, assessment, educational psychology, and early childhood education.
